SITIRI CAMPAIGN
The Sitiri Campaign is a transformation campaign dedicated to empowering young women and adolescent girls across Kenya. The name “SITIRI,” derived from the Swahili word meaning “To Cover” and rooted in the Arabic “Satara” embodies the essence of our mission: to restore dignity and provide support where it is most needed. For countless girls from marginalized communities, the inability to afford menstrual products means missing school, facing stigma, and enduring unnecessary hardship. The Sitiri campaign aims to change this narrative, we believe that no girl should have to hide her natural cycle out of shame or struggle for basic necessities. That is why through our projects we are ensuring that all menstruating women and girls have access to menstrual products, information on menstruation and access to waste management facilities. through this campaign, we are not just addressing a practical need but also affirming the inherent dignity and worth of every girl.

About Sitiri
Our campaign is a CALL TO ACTION, to policy makers, state and non state actors, donors. It is an invitation to stand with women and girls in Kenya , to veil their vulnerabilities from the harshness of poverty, and to cover them with the respect and support they deserve. Together, we can break the silence around period poverty and create a future where every girl can step confidently into her potential, free from embarrassment and full of hope.
Join us in making “SITIRI CAMPAIGN” a beacon of change and a testament to our shared humanity. Because every girl deserves to live with dignity, and together, we can make it happen.
